Grandma's birthday today!! We started the day out with a trip to Honeybee Canyon. We found a great spot with lots of shade and lots of rocks to climb. At this point in the trip the kids were still getting used to the warm temps and the intense sun (wow, it is bright in AZ). So a shady spot was just the ticket!
After the hike we headed to the pool (a great heated pool about a block from Tom and Susan's).
That evening was an evening of celebration. Taylor made Grandma a birthday crown -- queen for the day! We picked up Chinese, ate some delicious brownie pudding cake and watched Grandma open presents. Tom received a belated birthday gift -- you can never sing Happy Birthday too many times!!!
