Bangs

So, Abby asks me to draw a picture. Hmm... a picture (I had no idea what she was talking about). So after a minute of hemming and hawing she told me that she wanted me to draw a picture of her with bangs. After a quick look on the internet I pulled out the scissors and a few snips later it is done. Adorable:)

Abby turns 10 !!!

Wow -- our sweet girl is 10 !!! Time is marching on and Abby is growing taller, hungrier, sweeter, smarter, kinder, etc.....

We had a great day to celebrate her 10th birthday (on the 12th). She had TNT in the morning (it is so much fun to spend your birthday with friends). On the way to church we picked up donuts from Safeway (yummy). After TNT we went to Wendy's (hmm... sensing a birthday eating fest). She opened presents and ate Italian ice (her birthday treat of choice). Later that day she had Irish dance (big, full day). We all had a super day celebrating Abby's birthday -- she is such a blessing:)

History -- Imperial East

We had a fun history class on January 8th. We talked about China (around 1730s) and that about 1/3 of the world's population lived under the Chinese imperial dragon. Mrs. S. taught us a fun Korean game (similar to Trouble or Aggravation). We stayed for supper and ordered in Chinese food (yummy)!

New Year's Day

Fort building on the first day of the New Year -- what fun. Kids only fort (there is no way an adult could enter through the bottom of a folding chair)!!
